Drink Recipes

Cuca Fresca Caipirinha (served in a 10 oz. rocks glass)
2.5 oz. Cuca Fresca Premium Cachaça
1 lime, cut into 8 pieces
2 Tbsp. superfine sugar

Place the quartered lime in a small shaker and add sugar. Muddle lime and sugar together in the bottom of the shaker. Fill the shaker to the top with ice. Fill with cachaça and shake. Garnish with a lime slice and piece of fresh sugarcane.

Enjoying Sirène Absinthe

Absinthe is traditionally enjoyed in a drip. Pour about an ounce and a half of absinthe in to an absinthe glass or wine glass. Then place an absinthe spoon on the glass and place a sugar cube (optional) on the spoon. If you do not have an absinthe spoon, you can use a slotted spoon or add a dash of simple syrup. Then drip ice cold water over your sugar cube and into the absinthe. You can use an absinthe fountain or simply a carafe of ice water. We recommend having your first drip with three parts water and one part Sirène. Then adjust the water next time to your personal taste.

Regarding bourbon, which was never well stocked in my province in the first place, I really don’t know what to tell you. It’s almost disappeared, but for an interesting recent addition: Corner Creek Reserve Bourbon ($46.95) from Bardstown, Kentucky. At 88 proof, it’s incredibly smooth and refined; gets the job done without being harsh. Happy Valentine’s Day from IkonTrue Russian Vodka.

Bolshoi Amore Mmartini
1 oz Ikon True Russian Vodka
2 oz Marsecco sparkling wine
1 tsp grenddin syrup

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with cracked ice, cover and shake. Served in a chilled martini cocktail glass, rimmed with sugar and garnished with a cherry.

To rim the glass with sugar: pour a small amount of grenadine onto a small plate. Set the rim of the chilled martini glass into the grenadine and carefully rotate the glass for even coverage. Then, to rim with the sugar: using sugar on a seperate plate after the glass has been rimmed with the grenadine, gently sit the rim of the glass into the sugar and remove. Immediatly after, strain the chilled martini mixture into the sugar rimmed glass and garnish with a cherry.
